Liberty International Insurance in Hong Kong
A wholly owned subsidiary of Boston headquartered Liberty Mutual Insurance, Liberty International Insurance started its Hong Kong journey as OTB Assurance Ltd in 1973. In 1999 OTB Assurance Ltd was rebranded as Liberty International Insurance Ltd, with Liberty Mutual purchasing 70 per cent of the company.
In 2002 Liberty International was 100 percent owned by Liberty Mutual, and today the company offers an extensive range of comprehensive insurance products to individuals and businesses throughout Hong Kong, China, and the Asia-Pacific Region.
One of the top 10 Medical Insurance companies in Hong Kong, Liberty is also amongst the top 20 underwriters of Property and Casualty (P&C) business in the city and is able to provide comprehensive policy offerings in the areas of Car, Domestic Helper, Business, and Marine insurance products.
