Facility and Set Benefits on Event Insurance
Event Insurance plans offered by CCW Global in Hong Kong, Macau, and across APAC can include comprehensive protection for Facilities, Sets, Furniture, Carnival Floats, Stands, and Accessories – covering organizers against accidental damage or theft to physical objects and structures which are vital to the production of the event.
A Facility and Sets coverage benefit can be included in most event insurance options offered by CCW Global.
Coverage
Facility and Set Insurance Coverage
Including a Facility, Set and Furniture coverage benefit on your event insurance plan will ensure that you are fully protected against any accidental damage or destruction which occurs to the sets you are using.
Additionally, this benefit will also protect you against damages which occur to facilities and sets used in your production when the damage is the direct result of burglary, theft with threats, use of false keys, climbing, or deception.
This coverage will extend to all objects and equipment used in the production of the event where the equipment is not covered under an Equipment Coverage Benefit. Additionally, Entrusted Property liability is not covered under a facility and set insurance benefit, and must be purchased as a separate coverage benefit under the policy.
Should damage occur to built sets, facilities, furniture, stands and accessories, the policyholder is covered for the rebuilding value of the objects. Furthermore, should the organizer be renting these items, or if the sets and facilities are owned by the organizer, then the policyholder is covered for the real value of the rental – ensuring that you are not liable to the rental agency for damage to their property which was outside your control.
It is important to note that normal wear and tear, and mysterious disappearances of the sets, furniture and facilities are not covered under this type of event insurance coverage benefit.
