Summer is right around the corner, and in Hong Kong that normally means Junk Trips, Barbecues at the beach, Hikes at the many country parks, and (with Bars and clubs set to extend their service hours from May 19) nights out on the town.

With the announced easing of social distancing the summer of 2022 is set to be the best one Hong Kong has experienced in a number of years, but that doesn’t mean that it will be risk free. Even if you’re only planning on doing some shopping in Central, or watching a movie at APM, there are risks of going about your life in the city, and just because its summer those perils are not lowered.

With that in mind, here are some common perils you may encounter this summer in Hong Kong.
