Group Loss of License Eligibility for Pilots
Airlines or Aviation Unions based in Hong Kong are able to obtain group Loss of License, or Pilot Income Protection products, for their members. It is up to the Airline or Aviation Union in question as to whether they would subsidize coverage on behalf of their employees and members, or if individual members would be required to pay for the protection out-of-pocket.
Plans are extremely flexible, and current members of Aviation Unions (including groups like HKALPA, HKAOA Group, Dragon Air Pilot Association, and the Express & Airlines Pilot Association) are able to obtain individual coverage solutions to “top-up” any existing coverage they may already have.

Pilot’s Loss of License insurance plans for Airlines and Aviation Unions in Hong Kong are extremely flexible, and can be tailored to meet the specific needs of the pilots being covered.
Premiums associated with Group Loss of License Insurance products will be based on the ages of all the pilots in the group, their individual salaries, and the total amount of coverage requested by the group. In some cases, it may be possible to obtain significant premium discounts with more pilots enrolled in the plan.
